Greetings to MsWhip and any / all others who would read this!

I guess it would be most honorable and best to start with a name... For years I've been known by the name Dragon, Tempest, or Stormweaver among the various groups that I have run with. I respond to them all, so feel free to use whats comfortable.

Thank you first off for the chance to be a part of this community, I've not been apart of an open BDSM group ever before, but I have been into and had BDSM as a part of my life for 21 years now, and yes that means I was fairly young when I first found out about it, and not much older before my fantasies and my life unseen to many became very heavily affected by it. I consider this a blessing / boon and a curse at the same time, the details of which, my comfort hasn't quite hit yet to share.

As far as who I am, well, I'll tell you what I know, the rest we'll figure out together along the way. *Chuckles* I promise, I'm not a head case, but I am in my early 30s and going through a very difficult identity crisis, the likes of which have been I think truly occuring and affecting me for 2 years now, but only in the last couple months have I begun to admit whats going on and try to address it with the intent of doing something about it. In terms of the community, my wife would best describe me as a strong male Dom with very sub inner female that wants / needs to be addressed and pulled out from time to time. I guess by most standards that would make me a switch. Sadly, part of my on going crisis is the need and want to merge these aspects into a single complete person and figure out what I like at that point. There is very little in our community that I do not like / respect, though I have very hard limits when it comes to children, anything dealing with excrement / urine, blood, or lasting damage to the body. How much beyond that I can handle, I've never had the chance to test the ability to take or deal out, but I've got interests broad enough to look forward to expirimenting in several areas.

Medically, I'll share now, just people will be aware, I do have severe issues with my neck, back, and shoulders. I was injured on the job a couple years ago with several 200 lb boxes dropping on me from 20 feet above, so there will be as many nights that you see me using a cane for support as there are nights that I'm moving around or sitting the whole night. I have to contend with life day to day with the hand my body deals me, some days are pretty nice, being able to do a fair amount of moving without the pain getting too bad, on the other hand, there are days were from the moment I wake to the moment I sleep, that I doubt any Domme / Dom could truly inflict worse on me that what I already feel. Those days you will find me doing limited movements with a lot of sitting, but I still love to interact with people, so long as they understand that a walk in the park is out of the question for now. I will warn anyone who attempts to be involved in any form of scene with me about these concerns, no matter if I am Dom, sub, or just someone involved in another's fantasy.

The first few times I am around, I'll be in street clothes, not the junky I've been working on the railroad / garden kind, but nice clean jeans and variant shirts and shoes. I've never been safe enough to have any clothing for this aspect of my life... To be honest I've hidden who I was for so long, that I have just learned to deal, my wife however of the last 7 years has gone out of her way to provide my life with the ability to be who I am, and now that we're here in Atlanta (just moved down a month ago), I will be attempting to gather my own gear and clothing. Speaking of, what are the hours for the store, and does anyone know where one can procure leather and tools for working with leather in the local area? I've in my mind a set of leather based locking shackles that I want to make (yes I am a crafter, I work with wood, leather, and metals) but being new, I've not had much luck in finding materials for working with leather and most of my tools I was forced to leave behind to prevent drama within my wife's family. This move has been all about starting over, I guess this part of things should be no different.

Well, thats about all I can think of for now, if anyone wants to ask questions, I'll answer as comfortably as I can, and over time will most likely be more elaborate, as I get to know folks both here on the site and in person at the events, speaking of, is 1763 only open on event nights or is there a standard schedule as well?

I look forward to meeting you guys, it will be nice to finally interact with folks who share this aspect of my life in some form other then just the internet.

Honor and Respect to you all,

Dragon / Stormweaver / Tempest

There is a Tandy Leather Store on Lawrenceville Hwy.near the intersection with Northlake Pkwy, in Tucker, not far from 1763, who have some basic tools and leather to work with.

Great!! That will make things a great deal easier to get started with making things again. And it's nice to have a reply here as well, the week of silence made me think I had maybe done something disagreeable to the masses. LOL. Now to go see about getting to that Tandy Store.

Hi Stormweaver, welcome to the forum and to Atlanta. No you didnt scare us off, Ive been really quite lately with the flu! Im thrilled to see that we are your first open Bdsm group, please share, ask and participate! Its been quite here lately so we difinately need to perk things up again! The store at 1763 is open during club hours and those vary. 1763 is open every Saturday night and some Fridays. Our calendar of events stays pretty up to date and I post the weekly newsletter on the forum also!
Have you tried accupuncture to relieve your back and neck pain?

Well I will be sure to pipe up some, and if there is something that can be done to get things rolling again, I'll help where I can. Being disabled I've got a little more time on my hands then many, so I don't mind trying to be of use to the community.

Of the two direction styles, which is better to follow coming from the McDonough area?

I'll have to see about heading there very soon, to see the club and store, as well as meet some folks and make some contacts.

Looking forward to the future!

Well thank you for the offer, I am alone most of the days right now, my youngest child (age 4) is here with me, and then my wife and our best friend get in from work late afternoon. So if nothing else, might take you up on the offer to just to get to know some more folks in the area, currently I have no friends of mine or my wife's own down here, a couple of folks we've briefly met in the past who have so far not reconnected or followed up with our attempts to contact, and our best friend is from the area so has her own social network. We're avid gamers, play WoW, enjoy hanging out and watching movies, and things of that sort, everything else has been sorta hush hush under the table before now, and so far I'm the only one looking to expand my connection on the fetish front. Anywho, I'm out for now, feel free to chatter at me, I'm almost always logged into the site right now.
