Well I had mine pierced for a long time, lucky enough the lady who did them was very talented.
1. If you have them done, make sure the person sets it all up to do them one right behind the other. The first one will hurt like hell, but your body's systems kick in to attack the pain and you barely notice the second one.
2. It took 6 months to heal to where they could be played with without causing issues. Got a lil frisky at the 3 month point and spent a week having to clean them extra because of infection. However, left them alone cept for cleaning after that and all was good about the 6 month point.
3. I without a doubt had more while I had them in. Then I hit a very low point with myself and in a rash of actions against myself that lasted about a week and a half, I had taken them out and within4 days they had closed down several sizes and I didn't have rings to get back into them in time. However, I've still as sensitive as when I had them in, but at least now I can enjoy nipple clamps again when play time calls for it. When I had the rings in, nipple clamps were too much pain to enjoy.
4. So in recap:
4a. If your getting them done - Do them both at the same time and within a few seconds of each other, so your piercer needs to line everything up and have it all ready to rock.
4b. Give them a good 6 months to heal before playing with them.
4c. I don't care what anyone says about cleaning them, use very plain unscented antibacterial soap. Not the alcohol based stuff that cheap places give for ears, the alcohol will dry out the skin too much and you risk having the ring pop through from tension. And yes there are places in the SE USA that still try to give you that cheapy stuff to use. Go to SAMs get a mega bottle of unscented antibacterial soap, a big thing of swabs and be prepared to clean them 2-3 times a day. Do not take the rings out to do it, rotate cleaning the nipple and the ring, once the ring is soapy, move it back and forth through to clean out inside the piercing, and then rinse, rinse, rinse until no soap comes out of the piercing or any remains on the ring, your nipple or even your hands. Once done, place the ring where you want it and leave it along till next cleaning.
4d. Do not think that the moment your healed you can handle much weight on them, even combined. If your into that kind of thing, start very very very light (just a small gauge chain) and work your way up, the muscle and the skin have to adapt.
That's about all I can think of, maybe it will help someone.
