Hello all,
I was hoping to get some help with some questions i have. I have always loved being choked by my husband during our lovemaking. Is this breathplay? What other types of breathplay are there? Also one of my tattoo artists said that because i enjoy getting tattooed so much she thought i would like play piercing , she explained it to me. She told me about doing it and getting into this zone where she felt completely at peace, after reading the forum it sounds like she was in subspace. If anyone can expound on play piercing and headspace that would be so helpful. Thanks again.

Indeed choking is a form of breath play - but remains one associated with risk. Before engaging in any form of play which can and does inhibit breathing, one must be very careful to do it with the proper and trained partner. The partner MUST know the signs of asphyxia which can rapidly
onset.
There are many other forms of breath play - such as the wearing of a rubber hood which restricts breathing by either very small holes or through the use of a re-breather bag, or valve. Again we advise extreme caution!

Hello
Being one who dearly loves implementing on the receiving end and giving end of breath play I have made it a point to research anything I could find on asphyxiation. There are several articles out there with very important yet controversial information on breath play/autoerotic play/Asphyxia/erotic asphyxiation. Please do more research to form your own opinion and educate yourself.
In (my opinion) this two sided fetish/kink goes way beyond the very edge of edge play and what I myself call Safe and Sane. Perhaps one could say that for that simple fact we feed two kinks that we lust for the high we get while dancing with the devil and from breath play.

Hi Mistress C,
Welcome to the forum! Thanks for the post! Breath play is indeed one of the most controversial topics out in this community! Just recently Jay Wiseman was @ 1763 as part of the 1763 Educational series and we spoke in detail about breath play! This is one of 3 BDSM kinks that will certainly send you to prison should something go wrong. It is what it is and people love it or hate it!
Thanks for sending the educational links on such a serious topic!
