I am Nathan a Dom from Wales in the Great Britain,I am just writing to thank all of the 1763 staff and those who arrange the whippersnapper monthly event for a wonderful evening and later on a amazing night. I travelled across the pond for a vaction and wanted to see what the scene state side was like, having been active on the scene in Britain and Germany and sampled the scene across europe. So myself and my partner arranged to spend the night just when the whippersnapper monthy event was going on. So with a certain amount of curiosity we went to 1763.
I must say that I was more than pleasantly supprised at what I found there, I do not say this to be liked or bigheaded but 1763 is one of if not the best PUBLIC dungeons I have been to. Its exterior is Private and easily missed to the unknowing eye. The venue itself has a goodly amount of equipment and rooms that cater to different themes from crosses to a fair sized shower section for wet games, also a large area to allow group/open play, club meeting or even a party. A small moderatly stocked boutique with a fair selection of tools/toys. The whole place is well maintained and has a most excellent clean feel to it. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable if not a little basic. But a good dungeon is not made on its building or equipment alone. The staff have an air of professionalism but still remains welcoming and very friendly. There are rules and regulations like anywhere else, but they are pointed out, not forced down your throat and you are expected to act accordingly. I enjoyed the whippersnappers monthy event and would attend it again however to be honest I am getting a little too long in the tooth for that set and to be honest was a little afraid of my more extreme tastes putting some of the fresh faces off (hence I limited my actions a little in the interest of hands across the atlantic). I found the whippersnappers welcoming, open, accepting, talkative, generally very polite and superbly not cliquey(if indeed that is a word?) or clanish. I would strongly recommend them to anyone and strongly suggest to anyone wishing to enter the bdsm social scene that you would do well to consider attending any of their events if the one I went to was a typical sample.

Now Things I would change(Hell I am a Dom and we all would do things differently)......The bed frames in the private rooms, way way too noisy, for bed olympics and stronger for the real strugglers. I would also like rope eyes in the walls of the private rooms but to be honest were it my establishment I am not sure I would want rope eyes in the private rooms for safetys stake, but we can but dream of the perfect world.
Modest soundsystems in the private rooms possibly in the smaller dungeon rooms as well( yes with a limiter or strict rules on volume)

In conclusion: Have I been to better dungeons? Yes I have but all of them were members/invite only and as a result carry the complications of that. 1763 is one of if not the BEST at what it sets out to be which is a public dungeon.

Thankyou to all the staff for a amazing stay also sorry we couldnt do breakfast and chew the fat a little but we awoke late and needed to be off, I will enjoy the hospitality of 1763 again when I am that side of the atlantic.

*smiles* and claps my hands!!! it's very refreshing to hear such good things about club.. of course, we all seem to think those things as well, but it's nice such a great impression were made to a 'seasoned traveller' of different places.... hope that if you ever get back this way, you'll darken the doorstep again! :)

Nathan,

It was a pleasure meeting you and your partner a few weeks ago. Thank you for all the sweet compliments (we won't let them go to our heads!) and hopefully your schedule will permit a return visit if you should make it to Atlanta again in the future.

Thanks also for the constructive criticism. Sometimes the staff overlooks a few of the finer points that would make everyone's visit a just a little bit better.

Best!
