BDSM, what is it?

We've all heard the term BDSM, but do we really know what it is? Is BDSM the same for everyone or is BDSM something different for everyone? What is BDSM to you?

when i first 'entered into the BDSM scene' it was all about S/m... i was entranced with the pain - working it in my mind - conquering it, almost... i would bottom to a few different Ones, to have the different experiences of Their specialties...

now...

it's all about the D/s... *grins* seems that One has come along, and brought out that side of it that i never really understood, just from reading about it... i always thought that a submissive side was in me - i just hadn't met the right One then..and wow, what a difference the right One can make!!! yes, there's still a bit of a pain aspect to things, but, there's more to it than just that...but.. when there's more than just a Top/bottom relationship to things.. it changes everything!

i'm sooo glad that i've discovered this side of the realm.. as i truly believe it's where i was meant to be...
