What does your personal collar look like? How do you feel with it? Do you have any other items gifted to you that you feel brings you into a closer understanding of submission?

i'm still learning about this forum and stumbling across interesting posts.

my Mistress made my collar. It is leather and laces in both the front and back. It has turquoise stones representing my Native American heritage and a Celtic cross in honor of my Scottish roots. It gives me great honor to wear it.

One of the most memorable days in my life was the day my Mistress chose to collar me. (the 1st and 2nd most memorable events were when She proposed and when W/we were married). Collaring made me feel as though my life was finally complete. I had always hoped to find someone who would love me for who i am but to find someOne who could do this AND realize my need to submit and be willing and able to fulfill that need..was beyond my wildest dream!!

This is a good question since I have three collars. While each is special, the one I wear is from Tiffany’s and has a little padlock.

How do I feel with it? Like I’m very fortunate to belong to MsWhip! I especially like hearing her say I’m a keeper.

I don't have any gifted items but MsWhip has an electric box gifted to her that brings me VERY close to submission (lol)!

i am awaiting my "physical" collar.. as Wwe are already collared "internally"... it is something that He will pick for me, or Wwe will pick together... there will be 2, tho.. one for sceneing and one that will be suitable for public wear, as i crave the "public symbol" of Oour relationship...

with that said, it is just a symbol, as to Uus, the collaring comes from within.. Wwe know Wwe belong to each Oother.. and really don't "need" a collar... although, i will say, that wearing a collar adds a particular feeling to me... i wore a general one from His toybag for sceneing, and always gets a lil teary eyed when it comes off.. hard to explain.. a bit of a separation, so to say...but, i know, deep inside, that it's still true, Wwe are One...

*grins - you can bet i'll re-post when the "real" ones are around my neck! :)

I actually don't have my collar yet either because I think that it is the sign of my TOTAL submission and I'm not there yet. Sir and I have been engaged for a year and a half now, but Sir/Sex Bunny for a week. I'm making FANTASTIC progress towards getting my collar.
The collar to me is a symbol of my undying love and devotion to Sir. It's my complete submission and that isn't going to be taken likely. Once I am collared, I am also going to get a tattoo for him that is a permanent symbol. Our goal is to collar me the night of our wedding. I think that'll be perfect.
