If you happen to be our neck of the woods, or just looking for an excuse to come for a visit, here's the big happenings at the Mark in Nashville this weekend:

Our first offering in the Mark's educational program for this year will bring one ofﾃつ*the most popular presenters back to Nashville: JD, from Atlanta, will present: "Waxplay: From Tapers to Crockpots (or Waxplay: Not just for Drips)" ﾃつ*
Join us as we talk about waxplay and what makes it hot (both literally and figuratively). We'll discuss types of wax, tools and techniques such as dripping, painting, layering, andﾃつ*casting. Preparation and safety will be covered, as well asﾃつ*ways to maximize sensation, such as ice and wax. There will be a brief demo, as well as opportunities to try out some of the wax on yourself. Get out the drop cloth- there's going to be a wax party!

About Our Presenter: JD is a butch switch from Atlanta who has been active in the Atlanta BDSM community for more than 8 years, and presented previously on vaginal fisting for NLA-Nashville last year. ﾃ｢竄ｬﾅ典o teach is to learn twiceﾃ｢竄ｬﾂ is a saying she has taken to heart. She enjoys teaching at both big and small events, a passion which has taken her to Seattle, Denver, Ohio, Dallas, and all over the Southeast. JD held the title of Ms. SouthEast LeatherFest 2003, which gave her a really good excuse to travel, play and teach even more so than usual. JD has served on the board of Southeast Leatherfest and Love and Leather and is the President of Tribe, a group of BDSM educators and edge play enthusiasts. JDﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s passions/obsessions include needleplay, singletails and butch/femme dynamics. In addition to BDSM play, JD can sometimes be found playing bass guitar for her 80's cover band, Group Sex, or playing with her chihuahua, Killer. These days, JD's masochistic streak is limited mostly to grad school, where she is earning a degree in Biochemistry.
