Presenter David Lawrence has been a master of expressive portrait and head shot photography for more than 20 years. During that time styles and fads have come and gone but David’s methods have remained true and effective. The tenets his work is based on are not a matter of style but a matter of substance. David became interested in Shibari, the Art of Japanese Rope Bondage, in early 2003. With an artist’s eye focused on Shibari David recognized the inherent beauty of rope on skin. Shibari quickly became a passion, a passion that developed more intensely as he worked with and experienced the magic of rope. David’s talent and skill truly emerged as he delved deeper into the art of tying rope. His ties have become meticulous and the knots more intricate. The resulting ties are all true works of art. CLASS 2 Presenter David Lawrence Partial to Full Suspensions: This is a workshop for the intermediate to advanced rigger. I will explore with you the basis for determining how to rig someone for a suspension. We will begin with some basics about the anatomy and safety aspects that are crucial to the well being of both the rope bottom and rigger. Partial suspensions will be demonstrated first and participants will be invited to work through this for themselves. We may even add a little predicament to the partial suspension for an additional dynamic. From the partial we will move to full suspensions. We will talk and demonstrate various face up, face down, sideways and even inverted suspensions. There will be some knots shared with you that I use in my suspension work. As a note to the participants I am a static rigger for all my suspension work. Lastly, we will talk about the aesthetics of suspensions for artistic expression and maybe even a bit of photography. Presenter Miss Simone has been a lifestyle Mistress as well as a professional Domina for thirteen + years. Currently working on her PhD in psychology, she hopes to eventually be a kink friendly psychiatrist. Her community service has included the executive directorship of the LRA, inc. formerly known as Leather Rose, various fundraiser's and auctions, judging at GLLA 2006 and IL Leather Sir and boy in 2007, volunteering at LA&M and giving educational discussions and seminars through the Midwest. In 2006 Miss Simone began the Chicago branch of ClubFem, a group dedicated to network and education within the female dominant/male sub genre. Some of the arenas she has presented to include FetishCon, NELA Fetish Flea Market, Leather Sins, Shibaricon, Galleria Domain 2 and DomCon, College lectures include Loyola Northwestern University and University of Chicago.

Presenter Jake A perpetual student, Jake is a greybeard hedonist who as stumbled onto Japanese style rope bondage in 2003. Shibari on the internet arrived just in time to save him from a tired vanilla seniority. Meeting and learning from David Lawrence et al at 2005 Austin Ropercraft Symposium and 2006 Shibaricon hooked him and now he finds rope to be too much fun to ever stop tying! He loves to share his enthusiasm with others who already enjoy or who want to explore this "captivating" diversion! Rope bondage is a kink that never stops growing, always producing discoveries and leading to interesting new friends. Jake particularly enjoys introducing newcomers to rope bondage, demystifying it for those who claim to be all thumbs and reminding experienced players that it sometimes can just be "All about the rope". Class 7 Presenter Ms. Jaded Self-Bondage & Auto Erotic Play : Not all of us have a partner eagerly ready to tie us whenever the urge for bondage overwhelms us, some of us have partners that can barely tie their shoes, and some of us are switches that love the hug of the ropes when our bottoms are occupied.
